Constitutional Convention Reflection

Summarizing the Constitutional Convention plans helped me in regards to writing a journal article review in my African American History class.  Summarizing each plan was good practice for pin pointing the most important facts of an article as opposed to keeping a lot of unnecessary facts.  This is especially important when you are trying to stay focused on a particular thesis you are aiming to express. For example in my history class, the article I had to review was thirty pages and our summary had to be four pages. So it was really important to zone in on the important facts.  I also found that searching through the state statistics in the Political Structure activity helped in the same regards.

One of the most helpful facets of this project was learning how to use the Stafford Library site. I had glanced over the site once before but did not know how to properly use it. Upon discovering that you could pull up articles, I changed my tune. The Stafford Library page is now my go to source for finding source material for all of my current classes.
